The Uncanny Antisage
Performance at London Art Fair 2013

A proclamation of an individual’s inferior intellect to that of our collective insight.

This spoken word and sonic performance by Steven Dickie examines aspects of the artists’
personal knowledge and his perception of collective wisdom. Conflating the ‘Wise Old Man’
and ‘Fool’ archetypes The Uncanny Anitisage discloses shortcomings and reveals aptitudes
in his understanding of the world to a live soundscape by the artist and Stuart Bannister.
